Deep in Thoughts
“… Ren.”
If the other didn’t have the same name as him, he would be rather surprised. Though, perhaps he as well had a nickname that someone called him by? “… My family calls me ‘Beta’ though, or just ‘puppy’." … Did this look alike have a family? Did he have an Aoba or was he taken from his Aoba as well…? Oh. Maybe…. Was his Aoba gone like Beta’s own would be within the next few short years?
What a depressing chain of thought. A rather impolite chain as well- he couldn’t just outright ask if the look alike was all alone… Could he? If they were the same, would it be rude to ask questions like that? Perhaps, perhaps not; really he had no idea but seeing as how it was a sad question he would refrain from voicing it for now. They just met, no need to bring up depressing topics of conversation just yet.
╢番犬╟ 『 Hm, then we have the same name 』 He mentioned, they seem to be the same person after all, but even if in appearance there wasn’t too much difference, maybe in personality there could be a distinction, no? Because, well, his family had him a nickname and his don’t, there was a variance.
『 My family don’t have any nickname for me, but some people call me ‘stray dog’, but I don’t consider them my family 』People who only showed kindness to him sometimes couldn’t been in the category of "family” for Ren, they called him like that when they saw him sleeping in the street sometimes, and they gave him some food and water in some occasions. But they won’t cry if he died one of these days, they didn’t care enough of him. Unlike his foster father.
Ren was curious about how was the family of the “other Ren”, because they were obviously different, but he didn’t want to trouble him with the many personal questions he had inside of his mind when they had just meet. It would be probably very impolite and rude of him if he did it.
