“Ren.” his voice sounded strained, but it came to a surprise to see that this was another version of him. It was strange though, he didn’t look too much like he did, before Aoba attempted to scrap him. Though he made sure to repeat himself, to make sure the other fully understand that his name was Ren as well.

And it actually was him, but another version of himself?, these questions appeared in Ren’s mind when he heard the name of the stranger, but there was something wrong with these theories– in this case, the person with who he shared his name didn’t looked like him at all.
『 Just asking but, Are you.. that Ren too? 』 He asked a little doubtful and unsure, he actually didn't know how to put his question in simple words than the just said, he hoped the “other Ren” had understanded his inquiry.

Of course anyone who took a first glance at his face would recognize him as Aoba, but if they were to take a closer look the pain hidden behind golden eyes can be told that this wasn’t him. Head raising as the shorter haired male spoke was his attention caught.
Heavy, tired eyes fixed on the figure; he seemed quite familiar to say the least. “Mm, I don’t think we have.” he responded with a slight shrug. There was a guess that he knew him as Aoba.
╢番犬╟ 『Hm, then I must have confused you with someone 』 He sighed, he easily gave up in that thought of a meeting before this, maybe he looked like someone he knew before he lost his memories? Maybe that was the case. He won’t overthinking it, because well, he won’t get his memories back even if he begged for them, won’t he?
『 Sorry for asking something so suddenly, by the way, I’m Ren… Doesn’t the name sound familiar to you or anything? 』 He wanted to make sure that person and him haven’t met before, because if that person knew him before, it would be a good chance to know more about his past, even though Ren really doubted that he would get a positive answer to his question.
